Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy helps individuals of all ages develop, recover, or maintain the skills needed for everyday life. From getting dressed and eating independently to writing, working, or returning to meaningful activities after an injury, occupational therapy focuses on helping people function more confidently and independently in their daily routines.

At All Care Therapies of Georgetown, we provide personalized, one-on-one care to support each individual’s goals. Our therapists use practical, hands-on techniques and real-life activities to help clients build skills that carry over into home, school, work, and community environments.

Pediatric
Occupational
Therapy

Our pediatric occupational therapy programs focus on helping children build the skills needed for independence, learning, and participation in everyday activities. We work with children to address developmental, sensory, and functional challenges that impact daily routines at home, school, and in the community.

Using a child-centered, play-based approach, our therapists create individualized treatment plans that support each child’s unique strengths and needs. We emphasize family involvement and provide practical strategies that can be carried over into daily routines to help children build confidence, improve skills, and engage more fully in their environment.

We commonly address:

  • Fine motor skill development

  • Handwriting and school-related skills

  • Sensory processing and regulation

  • Self-care skills (dressing, feeding, hygiene)

  • Emotional regulation and coping strategies

  • Play skills and social participation

  • Developmental delays

  • Caregiver education and home program strategies
